This is a carry on from Suffolkzx's post about the people of today.

 

Well what an unbelievable day I had. I was fixing my other car on my front drive with my dog (another German Shepherd) sitting in the car. I then moved and sat on my front door step with my dog now sitting on my drive about 10 foot in front of me. Well the next thing I know, she's gone. I had noticed 2 teenagers walking down the road previously but didn't think too much of it - how wrong was I!! I drove around calling her name and someone nearby had seen 2 teenagers which were identical to the ones I saw calling a German Shepherd over. Well I spent the next 3 hours trying to track down these scum low lives, asking groups of people if they'd seen them. Well it turns out they were trying to sell my dog all afternoon but it must have got too hot for them as they ending up dumping her in the nearby park. She was brought back by 2 kids who'd heard about the guy in the 300zx who's dog had been nicked. Everyone in the area new she'd been stolen as quite luckily my mechanic knows the not so legal people who are in the know.

 

Well it all ended OK, she's home and not hurt but she's absolutely exhausted!! I just can't believe we live in this type of world were it's just about money. The positive side is how total strangers were willing to help me by asking about and phoning me with what they had found out and the really young kids just wanted to help my dog. It also helped driving a 300zx where people would know who I was :)

 

The other good news is that I have found out his name so I can hopefully have a quiet word with him :)

There was a warning put out in London not so long ago about Bulldogs being stolen.......I thought it was a joke !! FFS !!!

The sad thing is they would probably get about £50 for a dog but they have no care about the emotions they put someone through

Glad you got her back, If they'd done it for fun then I suppose you could put it down to their immaturity but the fact that they tried to sell her makes it quite a different issue, the fookers need sorting for this. Why is it we're hard on silly issues such as forgetting to make a SORN declaration FFS but soft as shite on really important ones? Makes mine and probably 80% of UK citizen's blood boil but fook all ever happens to change things.

This sort of s**t is truly depressing, but as BK said, it's because they've no respect for anyone other than themselves.

 

Personally, it really gets my goat when people (usually dodgy liberals) keep banging on about how the 80's was such a self-centred time. FFS, it's worse now than it ever was, and I'm not surprised.

 

I talked to my neighbour a couple of weeks ago, and she's a dinner lady at our local primary school (which btw, is right up the league tables and one that people move to be near to), and she says the majority of the kids are just plain horrible. They have no concept of politeness, they don't respect their elders and basically think they can do what they like...

 

The reason? Well, I wonder if it's because teachers are not allowed to call them naughty, tell them they're bad, put red crosses on their work etc, etc, in case they're scarred for life. FFS. No wonder they grow up to be such selfish chavs, who think their personal satisfaction is the only thing that matters! :headvswal

 

Now, I'm not saying we were beaten to a pulp at school, because we weren't, but there was at least the threat of getting a proper *****cking if you crossed the line. And whilst I didn't like all my teachers, at least they were able to command respect, which must be difficult for teachers who can't even tell kids off when they do act in a totally inappropriate manner.

 

It makes me sick. ASBOs are not the answer, we need to re-instill unfashionable values at an earlier age IMO. I can't see it getting any better in the short term.

Pleased you got your dog back Vijay,I would say you were VERY lucky to do so,only one tosser to blame for the way this country is heading MR Blair and his army of do gooders!

I rememeber quite a few years ago when I lived in south London There was a big scare going round that the vivisectionist were paying people to steal animals for research. (true or not) it was a big concern as some pets had gone missing? AND another time when Dog fighters were stealing pets to train their dogs for the killer instinct? Just gotta be so careful.

I say the main reason for the scum that's out there now is crap parenting.

 

There is one thing that made things worse though & that's banning corporal punishment, slapping your kids etc. Some kids need the occasional slap, it makes them feel like they're cared for & sets limits etc.

 

Police & teachers have no power anymore, these twats just laugh in their face, they have no respect for them or anyone, so they're free to run riot!

just the other week my aunty was doing her gardening, when she put her shovel down to pick a weed out, got back up to start digging again and realised the kids from down the street were walking off with her shovel, she shouted at them to bring it back so they turned and threatend to chop her f****ng head off with it. What they didnt realise was that her 6.5 foot son was approching them from behind, i will leave the rest of the details out as the police were called and things are about to get really nasty the kids involved. but am glad you got your dog back, she cant have her shovel back it is now evidence lol
