A wierd one for you techies out there!

On the way to work this morning my daily motor, which is a mk1 mr2 decided that when the throttle's held at between 1700-1800 revs it'll bounce down to idle and then back up again and keep going between the two. It drives fine otherwise and is it's usual healthy self.

I'm thinking a dead spot on the TPS or something like that?

The idle's rock stead at 800rpm, about where it should be.

Anyone seen these symptoms on other motors?

cheers in advance.

Trying to keep two nice motors on the road! :headvswal
