Feedback

I am set to introduce a hack that will incorporate into the forum a feedback similar to Ebay,

do you think this will bebenificial?

remember bad feedback can be left, and as long as the negative feedback is fair it may have to be accepted as left for this system to actually work correctly.

Do you want a ebay like feedback system 11 members have voted

Sounds like a good idea Mike,It may allow me to retire early so I am up for it;)

I have supported this idea a number of times, so am happy to go with it. I think that people should only be able to vote once, to avoid fudging the results

Let me be the first trader to speak up ... ;)

I would welcome a feedback feature as this will add to the credibility of the trader. I don't think traders should be afraid of receiving bad feedback as this is something we potentially deal with every day (some more often than others ... ;). The important thing is how you deal with an unhappy customer and turn the situation around to a positive experience.

I'm all for it.

All the best,

Dan

Customers are always wrong though :D

I'll remember that when I hve fitted your engine and it don't work

I have no problem with this Mike I think its a good idea , negative feedback providing its constructive should be used to improve your business, as Danny has said with all the best will and intentions in the world mistakes do happen its just how you deal with them

My only concern with this is there are far too many idiots on here with alias's that could ruin an otherwise good idea

they'd have to be to buy from you ;)

andyp: yes its basically your unrelenting nagging that got me looking for a good system ;)

obviously bogus feedback could be modded out :)

Sounds like a great idea, would it be open to all members or just the subscribed ones?

Good point Mark, I had assumed only subbed members could provide feedback

Asked for this myself over a year ago, hence my own little version in my section, so am all for it lads. Agree it should be run very similar to ebay whereby only those actually buying can comment and ideally after the transaction is complete oh and i feel to subscribed members only imo

cheers

smithy

This would worry me too

PMSL! :D:D

Yeah subscribed members only I think, that should stop alias posting. Unless they wanna pay £20 for an alias I guess.

is this just gonna be for traders? how about for members also who sell on the forum - could help weed out the dodgy ones that are in Macs bad books!

Again to add my point, i dont see why the traders need this system as it's not like we are into ripping people off, it's the members we have to look out for :(

It's a minefield with importing stuff as we all know so it could work out very harsh on the traders.

here is the system in action

i can set it so that only subscribed members and/or traders can have feedback

Mike that looks pretty good mate
