mmmmmmmm, 2strokes, im from the LC generation, keep meaning to find myself another one and do her up, never owned a VFR400 myself, remember hearing one a while ago and thinking it sounded gorgeous, followed a few over the years and they are a capable piece of kit in the right hands.

ace

A guy named alex from my site http://www.bikerclub.co.uk

had the rvf, it will rev to 13k as standard, and is extreame fun, though its small, riding position is actually very good, its an excellent bike, you will need to check the bike very well though, as they do get hammered, and an awful lot of them have been raced

Cant really go wrong with a (GOOD) Honda.

As you are only 21 you could do a whole lot worst. Yeah go on go for it.

Have ridden one belonging to a mate, as said above well cappable and you will not believe the lean angle you will get from them, just make sure you have decent rubber on it, as the one i rode had the hardest tyres ever, think they were made by teflon :)

Had the RS250 a few years back it will kill anything round the twisty bits but its hard work keeping it on the boil.My bro had a VFR 400 which i rode and was quite impressed

but didnt like the tall first gear.Have you considered the GSXR 400SP or RRSP cracking bikes, a bit more aggressive than the Honda IMO.

My Bro had one for his first bike, contrary to popular belief they are not as bullet proof as most make out as virtually all of them have been raced in Rand of Lising sun.

Engine broke on my Bro's and he had to get a recon fitted, was very costly considering he only paid about 1500 squids for the bike. Needless to say he got shot shortly after! ;) Oh and Honda dealers don't like touching them with a barge pole when something does brake.

Im having a look at alternatives as we speak just out of interest ebay here we come!

Be careful, that's where my Bro bought his VFR from!
