Well what a fooking stress that was, took her in sunday and was told to wait about 3 hrs for a slot so went shopping :D well got back, and they could not test it for a fuel leak, fixed that and back monday, bonnet would not open :S the cable had poped out, so in tuseday and she fails :smash: he did'nt like the way the fogs were also the break lights. then had problems with the MOT testers smartcard so he could not log the mot on the computer, so 3 hrs later they still cant do the paperwork, so he says bring back tomorrow with the lights fixed so did that and what do you know VOSA Still have not logged the MOT even after 8 phone calls.

 

 

Well now other then that i now have a MOT :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Woohoo

Matt, what sort of fuel leak did it fail on? I've got the old "strong petrol smell" when cold and I've not tracked it down yet :(

Steve, have u got stock fuel lines mate?? if so , just remove all the metal parts on back ( u can see if u follow fuel lines) and change for 2 nice simple lengths of 8mm fuel line with some nice new clips.Thats what ive done and not a hint of petrol !! cheap job too , got fuel line and jubilee clips all for £10. cheers ryan !!

Errm - no! Got Smithy's braided lines and I don't think that the leak is coming from them :confused: Plenum's coming off soon so I'll be able to have a proper check then...

dunno where mat is, but i belive his leaks were due to leaky injectors

 

Yep sure was, the o rings on the injectors had gone. If you need a hand to find the problem give us a call.
