scuffing brakes

I decided to change my brakes because the front drivers was making a rotational scuffing noise anyway. loud!

 

so cleaned etc and fitted ebc pads and brembo discs.

 

Still making scuffing noise but only very quietly :cry:

 

what seems to be the prob?

 

any ideas please ;)

    depends on how you say scuffing were the pads down to the steel? if so it could be that the discs are scored and the new pads not bedded in to them yet, noisey wheel bearing,or slightly warped disc could be any of these really

    When you fitted new pads did you transfer the anitsqueal shims over to the new pads and copper grease the backs of the pads ? :eek:

     

    If not, they will squeal like buggery !!!
