60,000 mile service

Although it's now 5K late I'm sorting out the 60,000 ml service.

I am intending changing the following:

Cam Belt

Water pump

Thermostat

Is there anything else that should really be changed/renewed at this time?

I have looked at the Courtesy 'kit' and spoken to Darren who thought that most of it was unnecessary.

Any comments gratefully recieved.

Cheers guyz

Just done the belt, pump and thermostat for Shabir, but its a good idea to change the drive belt too as its never as easy later once the radiator is back in.Spark plugs are a 60k milers as well but I usually change them at less and do not forget the air filters,I seem lately to be coming across a lot of blocked standard filters which can lead to low mpg.Its all money in the bank as far as I am concerned good service = good car (well that`s the theory)

Ps oil oil oil oil oil oil and lots of it

You mean to say you take the radiator out to change the cambelt?? seems to me your making a hard job out of that one!

jeff,

Thanks for the advice, which are the best plugs to go for? I have seen a recent posting about Iridum plugs at £15 each are they worth it and what will Mr Nissan charge for standard.

Many thanks

Tim

If I remember my plugs cost me £9 each trade(£11 retail) from nissan.
