Hi all,

i know there are loadsa links on forums about this but my situation is a bit different.

Upon acceleration when the car hesitates if i keep ma foot down it will not accelerate at all but just twitch along and few seconds after make a bang, sounds almost as if radiator cap has blown off, that sorta noise with a bang and a whoosh.

And this happens every time i keep ma foot down if it hesitates so i tend not to avoid it, and if i release accel. and put my foot down again it will accel. normally. Sound familiar to anyone??

BTW its automatic n/a import and ive cleaned the throttle bodies and the few other cables.....

its late :o LoL

Matey, when you say hesitates, do you mean the engine is hesitating or does the engine revs stay the same. What im trying to say, is do you think its the engine stalling or the gearbox not taking up drive. Have you checked the gearbox oil level and smelt it. If it smells burnt and the oil looks dirty could be the box. The oil should be redish. Just a start LOL

have u checked all air hoses are on mate also check ur injector conections as possability one could be loose causing the sometimes it does it and some times it dosent problem.

Whereabouts in London are you, if you bring it down to me I will strap it onto the Conzult and see what we can find?

well the revs dont go up, it feels like something has been shuved up the exhaust and it will just sort off nudge forward but it will happen only if i put my foot down and hold it but sometime if i put ma foot down it will change gear and fly off as normal lol, it happens rarely but i dont like the bang!!

I will check all the injectors

Hi mark, ive added u on msn m8, i'm in west London, isleworth, if anyone wants to add me mine is: ufraven@hotmail.co.uk

I had the same trouble with mine last year and knowone could pinpoint the problem i even put it on a consult and nothing showed up...

I changed the fuel pump,PTU,Crank sensor, oxy sensors,TPS,plugs,AFM,cleaned all connectors and no different ;(

Eventually i changed the CAS at it was like new again :)

It took three of us to try and sort this problem and it was a pain until the cas was changed..

Like i said on my zed consult didnt show any problems and car was very hessitant...

Your's could be something different but worth checking the CAS with a good working one though or check all the connector's...

Good luck

Have you checked the temp sensor connections for corrosion ? , bit of a long shot but mine also had a bad hesitation but mainly when cold , renewed both ecu and temp guage sensor , cleaned the terminals , sorted :hyper: HTH

ok, well after taking my Z down to see Mark in Putney today, he plugged the Conzult in and it showed that one of the O2 sensors was knackered along with other things which he explained that could have been contributing to the problem. For free of charge, what a guy!!!!

BTW im gonna get on those issues a.s.a.p

thanx for being such a help in explaining everything so clearly, now it all makes sence, where as before i didnt know what was what.......lol

cheers :D
