I need some advice on what size tyre would be best for my new alloys if that's ok guys? :)

They're 19's in an 8.5" width fitment for the fronts and 9.5" for the rears.

I was thinking of trying out the Goodyear Eagle F1's this time as I've heard good reports (although I have to say I've always had Toyo Proxes on my cars and been very happy with them) but it would also be interesting to hear if anyone would recommend another make?

Cheers,

Leigh.

Thanks for the advice so far. Can I go any bigger than 235/35 for the fronts and 265/30 for the rears?

You can go up to 245 wide on the 8.5 wide fronts but I wouldn't recommend it. Any wider than 235 fronts will tramline like shite!!!!

On 9.5 rears you could probably fit 275s but for wet traction stick to 265s. The sizes given by vinz are spot on for optimum all round performance.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Def no wider than 235 on the fronts Leigh. My old wheels were 10j rear and at one point I had 285's on. But if I were you 265 sounds just right for 9.5j.

Cheers guys, that info is really appreciated! I can now get on and order some decent rubber for them :)

P.S. James: sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday bud, between picking up the alloys and taking Lucie out I didn't stop! Afraid I don't know where that company is based as the parts were ordered by the bodyshop when I first took the Zed in to get the insurance work done. Sorry I can't be any more help fella :(
