Hi,

please can anyone help or advise me on this.

I have a Volvo S60 2.4T. I parked it last night, locked it and when I went to it today, it turned over but wouldn't start. I got a message in the display unit on the dash saying "Immobiliser- see manual".

This just sets out the correct starting procedure. I've tried all 3 keys, I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and retried- no luck.

 

I have disconnected the battery and put it on charge overnight. I also checked the fuses for the coils, injectors, ecu etc, they're ok.

 

Any ideas? (short of burning it!)

it deffo sounds like a volvo job m8

could be the unit itself or the aerial that picks up the signal

if you've tried all your keys unlikely its the chip, my mate had to get them to

sort his, i think it was £25
