I think it is a terrible idea fitting one of those. I wouldn't touch it will a bargepole.

 

IMHO

these are generally considered to be a con mate. im not sure of the technical side of it but they override a sensor reading or something to supposedly give you a BHP increase, but they probably knacker your engine.

Anyone know what these are about, do they work or is a con?

 

A few years back I got a simillar item on EBay for my Vectra and it ended up being a little electronic diode? with a wire each side and you are supposed to link it into the fuel injection system somewhere.

I never used it but it didn't look good??? :nono:
