been fitting unorthodox pulley today (my most adventurous mechanical attempt yet) and just managed to get the belts back on, ive got the right belts i think!! but they do all seem much tighter than the ones that were on there before but the power steering pulley is about as far right as it goes

does this seem right for anyone else thats done this or is it just because they are new??

cheers mate

belts seem to be working after everything was put back together

looks like the pulley is on at a slight angle though! would have thought 165lbs on the torque wrench would have made anything line up properly :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

apart from that everything seemed to go ok putting her back together

if the pulley id not on right id sort that out ASAP on load that little bit of wobble is causing a huge strain on the crank itself, and over time could cause some serious engine problems especially the bearings!

problem could be the fact the woodruff key is not set properly it needs to be sat like a a wedge in the crank so the pulley goes over it all the way to the back,id imagine the key has pulled out when you done it up and sat behind crank pully causing it to foul tap it in so its shaped like a wedge and smear some copper grease on the inside of the crank pulley so it goes on smoothly

good luck
