I had exactly the same as that Paul, well both sides. It's where the car over the years has been jacked up at the point where the bottom of the wing bolts to the sill. I cured mine by getting a lump of 3" by 2" wood, placing it on the seam at the joint between wing and sill then smacking it until the seam was straight. Then undid the two 10mm bolts (6mm threads, think I had a couple snap so drilled 'em out then tapped 'em again), then you cvan just get that final adjustment put bolts back in and tighten, jobs a good 'un.

By the way make sure you clean out the bottom of the wing inside after you unbolt it, bet you will find a load of soil and shite there which could cause rust...You can pull wing out gently from the bottom just to get in and clean, but don't go too far otherwise you could crease it ...

hope that helps... ;)

Get a small bottle jack,a piece of wood and an old towel.Jack off a handy kerb, sorted.

Paul - for a quick solution you could do what I did when I had mine.

Where the seam line is, press gently with the lower part of your palm. You may need to press several times but it's better to do it a bit at a time.

Quick and easy!

The method we use (i,m a panelbeater) is to get a wide but slim bladed bolster chisel or anything similer , wrap it with masking tape , so as not to damage the paintwork, slip it between the door and wing and gentley lever the wing back into alighnment.Have to use this method when fitting non genuine wings cos most don,t fit correctley , this method works a treat on these :hyper: HTH Allan
