I have just replaced my standard dipped bulbs for the 30% brighter version as recommended in an earlier post. Doesn't seem to have made a great difference, but was fun putting them in ...

 

Anyways, may now install some driving lights.

The only place I can see to fit them is in the gap on the front skirt, although I was wondering about using the dummy light shells on the side (mines a UK model TT). either that or swapping the indicator/side lights for driving and having them where the dummy lenses are (as on the Jap imports) not sure on the legality of this.

 

Any thoughts guys?

if you look at Nico's car in the rides, then you will see that he has some piaa lights in the gap under the bumper.

 

personally i was thinking along the same lines as you, about putting them into the corners, but couldn't see an easy way.

 

i dont really want to make mine look like an import by taking the other route.... ;)

 

How about a nice set of Cibie Oscars on the front bumper, you`ll see everything and won`t look like an import, a t**t maybe, but not an import, just a thought!!

You can cheaply 'Double' the brightness of the Zed lighting system by sellotaping a glow-worm to each wing.

 

Or you could not bother with the lights and get some army surplus 'Night Vision' IR goggles. The cops wont see you coming!

 

I was travelling along side a V**xall V*ctra the other day and couldn't believe how bright his dipped beam was, it was like Wembley stadium flood lighting compared to my zed which has the same Lux value as a glow-in-the dark condom! But I'll stick to the Zed.
