Cooling fan

Hi guys!!

 

My cooling fan on my Zed is always on, it spins when i start her up and then stops until she is at workin temp and then starts again and increases in speed when reving :confused: It makes her sound like a landrover or something!! To be honest the sound does'nt bother me but just wanted to know wether it was normal or not?

 

I know that these machines run at very high temp and that she is an import maybe something to do with it!! :headvswal

    sounds normal to me, you say it stops? Completely stops? If it does then its knackered, and if its really loud like a truck or something then the coupling is knackered. Its normal to run at full speed for a few seconds when starting from cold but it should slow down and you shouldnt be able to hear it.

    It's not an electric fan it's connected to a viscouse coupling (if thats any help?)
