There comes a time in a mans life, when having a baby is the 'right thing' to do. Here are my new born twins:

Arn't they nice?? Hopefully it won't be long before they're attached to their single parent - who'll respect them, and feed them clean oil! (Simon, I think its time for some sleep mate!)

I'll let you know how the fitting goes when my pistons arrive, and the engines been rebuilt!

Droooooool uurrrgghhhhhhh what make are they?

By your last pic it looks like you're doing a triple turbo conversion!

A triple turbo conversion!! Muhaha. The third box, actually had my breather kit in and the old oil and coolant lines from my knackered turbos.

They're Stage II hybrids from Turbo Technics (of course the boxes didnt give that away did they biggrin.gif ) - nothing special like HKS's or anything quite so desirable. Still, they definitly have a high 'drool' factor!

Staging was introduced by Steve Millen Motorsports, it is used to simplify the upgrading options into a set of stages according to your preference.

The stages work as follows and are based on a stock 300ZX Twin Turbo developing 300 hp @ 6500rpm @ 9.5 psi

"Stage hp/psi Add

1 320hp @ 10 psi Performace Exhaust System

2 340hp @ 10.5 psi Stillen Hi-Flow Intake

3 320hp @ 10 psi Computer Upgrade

4 405hp @ 13.5 psi Larger Intercoolers

5 418hp @ 14.5 psi EVC (Electronic Boost Control), D.O.T.-approved Helmet

6 445-500hp @ 16.5 psi Super 500 Turbo Upgrade & Injectors

7 520hp @ 16.5psi Stillen Twin Hi-Flow, 5-Point Harness

8 620hp @ variable psi Super 600 Turbo Upgrade,Injectors and Stillen Twin Hi-Flow

9 680-760hp, tuneable Nitrous Oxide, NOS Control Board to Computer Upgrade, Roll Cage "

George,

The staging you're refering to, is for the state of tune for the whole vehicle.

The staging for Turbo Technics turbos is thus: http://www.turbotechnics.com/turbo/hybridrange.htm

After speaking to Giles @ TT, he says these figures are somewhat conservative, and in most cases if the engine has other performance mods, then the power figures will be higher still! "Excellent Smithers" biggrin.gif
