Anyone else finding problems with boost in the warmer weather? Sometimes I'm getting 9psi sometimes around 6-7psi... It seems to bog down a bit on 20 -30 mph roll ons, ie. push it from this point and it wants to go but feels "restricted" for want of a better word. Then next time it'll fly! This is in the same spell of driving... Just wondered if anyone else had the same thing...

 

Also, in an Auto, what settings do you have the box on for a sort of dual carraigeway enviroment? O/D on or off? I tend to leave the power button alone, as the power light comes on anyway if you put your foot down...

My Gt4 used to do this, on a hot day after being stuck in slow moving traffic, due to the heat soak from having its Intercooler mounted on top of the engine.

 

I've not experienced it with the zed however. Sorry, that was'nt much help :(

Standard IC's?, Heated Throttle bodies?, poor induction? and leaky hoses?

I'm was gonna book it in with Ryan for a chip and boost upgrade and to get an oil guage connected so he said he'll take a look for me as I've got a bit of a knocking noise coming from the top of the engine now as well...

 

He's only nearly 3 hours away... :rolleyes: Worth it though based on what everyone else has said about his quality of work and customer service. A rare thing these days... :smash:

 

I'll feel a lot better once the "Godfather" of Zeds has had a look at it :) Hopefully it's nothing ;)

Not problems with your DET sensor is it?

 

Had Ryan changed mine and no problem whatsoever.....then had it chipped and boosted whey hey!!!!!
