Anybody got any suggestions for reasonable rate insurance companies.

Outlook is not good I'm afraid out there. I have recently trawled the market and costs are high.

 

I'm a corporate insurance broker and now know that Sept 11th has also affected the personal motor market.

 

NU direct were the best for me with 3 mods but only 1yr bonus at £1800 and were 30!!!

 

Some recommended by the guys were asking for £3200!!! Whatever, people wer quoted before Sept 11th has now gone up in price.

A-Plan Special Schemes Centre is 0845 071 1234. This may be the number for imports.

 

A-Plan seem to have a very low limit for glass claims. I think it was £250 - £50 XS on the quote they gave me.

 

You could also try Insurance Factory on 0870 200 6006 who have given me my best quote so far, or www.elephant.co.uk who are also good.

AFAIK you have to be over 25 to use A-Plan..

 

I certainly did anyway
