Just in time for the meet in Peterboro' tomorrow :D

99 Spec light units, and an illuminated RED rear centre panel

Some minor touches are still to be done, but on the whole it is virtually complete.

Hope you like it.

Wiil try and do a report on all the trouble I've had, and the faults with the tt.net guide for the centre panel.

I'm quite prepared to tackle yours mate..... But.... As mentioned already (somewhere) I cracked my original one :D so I'm holding no responsibility if it cracks! Although saying that I now know what the fook I'm doing

I'll also need another inverter, which I beleive I can get hold of from RS Components (will have to check on the price)

I can loan you a temporary replacement while I'm doing yours, but the ones I have are cracked! lol

PM me if you want to trust me with it :d

mmmmmmmmmm trust.........:rofl::rofl: No probs mate :D

Dave, you know i trust you :D:D:D:D:D

I'll PM you shortly ;)

Where did you get your fill-in panel from? Did you get it from the Zed Centre or from somewhere else?

The panel is a standard one that started life as silver '300ZX'. It's been opened, sprayed, then the '300ZX' logo was sanded, then it had about three coats of 'clear' red modelling paint applied, then the electoluminscent panel was installed, then it was all put back together.

Cost of materials was about £45 for the EL kit, then about £10 for 'Other' materials, and then a further £30 for a replacement rear panel!! (due to cracking my original one :smash: ). The kit does give you enough sheet for three panels to be done, but only one inverter that you need.

Sorry, I should have been more specific, I meant the fill-in panel on the tailgate that fills in the void that's left when you remove the tail fin. e.g. the one that's on your car that has an intergrated brake light.

Cheers,

Shaun

PMSL  oppssss!!

Yes it came from Luke at the ZCentre, but as I'm only 30 mile away from him, I just popped over and picked it up.
