Just to let you all know that I have been using the car for nearly two weeks now - with the 130w bulbs - and everything is very cool! No melting wires, and no blowing fuses, as some of you predicted.

So - go buy them £4.99 each from Halfords - Headlight Bulb 492. If you cant solder - send them to me and I will do it for you!

I've got these bulbs and I'm intending to upgrade the main beam, dipped and front fogs.

Does anyone know if the total load will be too much for the loom to take.

I know about upgrading the earth but will that be OK if all lights were on at once?

I presume the circuits are fused individually but they must all lead back to the battery at some point...

As far as fuses go, there is one for the left and one for the right. Main and dipped beam bulbs both use the same fuse on each side (the relay for switching is after the fuse).
