Cheap Insurance for young drivers???????

I am trying to get first insurance for my 21 year old nephew. He has a Peugout 306 (1.6L) but cannot get any price below £1300 as it's his first car & he has no bonus.

Does anyone know ANYWHERE cheaper? :(

What year is the Pug? If it is 10 years or older, why not try him on the classic car scheme that firebond.co.uk do?

Thought about that COS but he has a 1996 PUG... :(

try admiral

Thanks Guys, I tried Elephant, Tesco & Admiral but they came out at about £1300-1500 :headvswal even tried increasing the excess but no real change.

I guess it's the burden of being a young driver & with it being his first car they are shafting him.... :slap:

You might also want to try adding yourself as second driver to his insurance. I know that adding my Wife to my Insurance reduced my quote by £150  ...even although I'd never let her drive it

also look at limiting the yearly mileage. (i've never once been asked any proof of mileage at start or during any period of insurance, and it does lower the price. But I only do 3k-4k a year in the zed anyway)
