Does anybody know how much does a brand new Radiator go for? Just wondering if to go for a 2nd hand one of a new one.

I don't know how much a new one goes for mate, but as long as you can get a very good condition second hand one should be OK. I am going for a second hand one from Andy. I know Chris has one going as well so that could be worth trying.

I have a Auto TT Jap rad for £50 i still used it after my manwell conversion no probs, if you want a Koyo then they are around £320 so its a good deal :)

Really want a koyo but finding it hard to convince the wife LOL.

My only concer with 2nd hand ones is it can be a lottery how long they last as this one lasted 6 months, just my luck LOL.

I wanted one as well. But I think I will have to lose my nice shiny slam panel. I know it makes sense and all that but I dont want to lose my bling! :cry:

Not treading on anyones toes etc........but you could have one made up with thicker core for around £220-just another option mate! ;)

Brand new standard ones are about £280 I think, I seem to remember the assistant at my local breakers arguing that £140 for one out of a scrappie was a bargain for that reason :rolleyes::xxx:

You know were the Koyo's are coming in, try them iam sure they will do you a good deal ;)

 

I have a few used rads in stock but for the price of a new one now days, it seems pointless fitting a used one.

Unfortunatly my budget wont streatch to a new one was hoping they would b about 200 quid, so ill have to go for a 2nd one. Ill send the cheque to u Dave as discussed.

what stops the slam panels fitting over a koyo??

I only heard that they did. nobody has confirmed this. Different brackets I expect. God I am mumbling to myself again ...

If your on a buget you could get you old rad recored. That will cost about £140 + You can have a deeper core at the same time. I got a guys number in Warrington if your interested.
