Just had KYB shocks and Eibach springs on mine, but cant recommend the setup yet, as Ive not drove the car yet!!!.

I have Blitz springs and KONI ajustables (Street Pro). Personally I don't rate KYB, but when I can aford I'll go for the Tein Coil over Set up with the servo's on so you can ajust and tune your suspension to the driving conditions. (Whilst driving) Rock hard for track days, a mid setting for A road whoring and a softer setting for round town. + The quality of the Tein products are awesome. At £1,300 for the setup you'd expect it to be good and everyone I know whos got it says its really really good.

Whiteline anti roll bars. About £160 for the pair from Demon Tweaks.

KYB AGX adjustable shocks with Eibach springs always come recomended and as a very popular choice. I've driven a zed with this setup and not only did it handle far better, but it also rode better than stock.

depends what you can afford m8. As markzx mentioned earlier the teins really are that good, but like all good things..they generally cost more than usual. My tein kit cost me £900, but are fully adjustable as well, which helps..so you can change height and damping rate when your right foot see's fit...yum yum

as mentioned, the KYB & Eibach combo is a very good setup & is excellent value for money.

add adjustable upper arms & tension rods & its even better :hyper:

It depends how far you want to go. If you look at my rides section you'll see I've done about as much as you can suspension wise, but it doesn't come cheep. Changing the bushes to poly bushes is proberbly the most costly and gives the biggest results.

Mark, did you get any increased vibration/harshness and road noise from changing to poly bushes ?

Changed mine to poly bushes, but hardly drove it before so cant tell you if there is a difference.

No it just feels far more possitive and less wooly. You feel like your sure about whats going on. Mind you I got rid of the Hicas at the same time so how much that has to do with it I'm not sure.

I had some hangkook 104s tyre on the last set of wheels I bought and they gave a lot of vibration and road noise even though they gripped well in the wet. As soon as I put Bridgestones on it was smooth and if there ever was any road noise the exhaust drowns it out. :D

I have KYB adj's with them set hard.

Can be a bit lumpy over potholes and drains but then If id off wanted a smooth ride id of bought a limo :smw:

recently fitted stiilen rear strut brace and its a definate improvement.

just waiting to get my hicas eliminator fitted now as this is the cause of alot of wandering.

markzx.....just been looking at your suspension mods....

 AWESOME

Just has new Nissan replacement dampers and have had an SE sport spring kit fitted with them (approx 20mm drop), it looks better and this has transformed the ride for me. You still get a smooth ride (but obviously harder) as well. Recommend it, but obviously this isnt adjustable, so depends if u want to use it on the track i spose.

Yep I agree with that. I don't understand why they put it on. Every moded Z and skyline I've seen has got an elliminator on.

P.S. By the way I have a unussed S.E. Hicas eliminator for sale if anyone wants one.
