Had a top day, great weather albeit a strongish sidewind (and no, i didnt have a curry last night)

Some good times today.

My best was 13.339 @ 105.87, bloomin well chuffed as the swb was only put back on the road yesterday and i set the boost controller up en route on the M1.

Nearly beat my PB of 13.286 @ 106.89 but that was in my old 2+2 and that was setup to perfection!!

My 60ft times just got better and better thoughout the day, started off with 2.28 and ended up with 2.13, i need to get that down a fair bit more, just a shame that when i got the 2.13 60ft, i was on a lower boost setting

I had 7 runs, worst was 13.559 @ 104.43, so all within 0.22 of a sec, well chuffed with that!! I won all my runs :D:D and no, i didnt just go up agaist corsa's!! I beat a R33 GTR with biggish tubs by 0.04, he didnt even go to collect his time slips, he just drove staight out!! LMAO!!

Well done to Slick Pete, improved his PB in his SWB na by .5 :D

SteveJ ran good constant low 16's in his SWB na Auto

Craig David was my suprise of the day, 15.8 in his 1999, 2+2 na Auto!! First time at the pod in a car! :D

Top man TonyC was getting very low 14's in his New Evo1. Well done buddy!

Thanks to Mike Feeney for orgainising, Peach for shutting my bonnet and the pics/camcorder footage! And everyone else that turned up!! :D

I had a great day today. Mainly thanks to the company!!

All the best

See you at the next one 22nd May :D

Yeah I had an excellent day to, good meeting you Chunk, and the other guys, my old Zed did a 14.3 with it's new owner driving, not bad seeing at it was his first time at the Pod... he won both his runs too.

Did you see that purple Corsa looking completely bog standard on wheel trims running 13's?!?! lol some people have no style... ;)

The orange old school Escort was a bit tasty as well

I video'd that run Chunk, we were on the grass verge going "ooooh that Liner looks a bit tasty... go on Chunk!" and sure enough, you done him, was funny to hear he left straight away!

All in all a great day out, and I can say I expereinced "The long dog" now as well, as well as "The double whammy"... :p

I'm definately going again, so is Darren, so see you next time!

(Next time we should arrange to park up together again like a few of us were)

Woke up with a stonking hangover this morning, looked at the clock 11:30am. Bugger, not going to the pod today then!

Shrimpy, Cheers dude, thought you'd of been there today!

Well I'd like to say another good day out and it was good to meet some more new people (though being quite old I will have forgot your em em...oh yes...names).

Just waiting now for the stick of Slick Pete who has done bloody wonders with his Z..well done mate! (hope the compliment softens you up a bit)

I had a top day too. It was my first time there in a car and getting hammered by some 30 year old beetle on my first run didn't help.

I did five runs, best 15.8 worst 17.4 (big wheelspin on that one!).

Great to meet more new people and I think I got a bit of sun as well.

There were some really impressive cars there - looking forward to the next one.

Great day, good weather, good fun, felt a little out of it so to speak at first, not having a Z,but nice to meet all again, was a good show from every one, especialy Chunks "Battle Royale"with the Skyline, have it on film and will edit it down and compress, will need someone to host it though!.

I had 2 runs, morning and afternoon, first was a 14.28 and 2.26 60ft,second was a 14.07 and 2.18 60ft,got it to wheel spin that time as they had just put sand down ready to prep the track :( the only EVO quicker than me was a Evo MR FQ 340,was well pleased and i have no idea as to what boost i am running, room for improvement i think :D

Was well impressed with Slick Petes NA,keeps getting quicker and quicker.

Was well impressed with Slick Petes NA,keeps getting quicker and quicker.

Thanks for the compliment Tony. :D

I just need someone to volounteer to fit the stainless steel headers I have bought WITHOUT breaking a manifold stud in situ????

Running in the Z Club stock N/A class that is the only other mod allowed.

I am planning to do other work over the coming winter for the 2006 season to run modified N/A. 14 sec quarters in an N/A??? I hope so, the question is how low in the fourteens.

And is the 100mph terminal achievable??? Time will tell.

BTW.... before anyone else says it.. :nono: .. time is already taking its toll on the driver! :o

Good on you Pete!!

Would love to see you get into the 14's with yer NA :D

well done chunk anyone who gives a skyline a good hideing deserves a pint or an evo who keeps catching russ maybe give him some tips
