im looking for an auto box must be good but would like an se fast road box does anyone have any info on these boxes and one for sale

Basically the SE Boxes are uprated versions with some extra bits added and the line pressures kept up, thus quicker gear changes and they are very strong boxes. ou can still get them from SE Nisstek as far as i know. I thought ryan was gonna build these boxes himself and sell them, but i guess the fact the he has more business than you can shake a stick at, so he's hardly got enough time to breath lol, he's put it on the back burner

One major tip if your getting a new box of any kind, make sure you have an uprated oil cooler, the JAP spec cars are shite at cooling the autoboxes on uk roads. you need an oil uprated cooler instead of the current one(see traders), then use the current one to cool the gearbox oil rather than the Rad which currently does the job. Otherwise any box u fit probally wont last too long.

got me anuprated box after my own exploded probably the best upgrade i made on the car smoother changes more reliable but also upgrade the cooler on the box as well :cool:

im on now my 3rd box in 12 months, thats why i bought the SE one this time.

Ztech has designed an autobox that will leave SE's for dust as we actually uprate all of the internals not just play with the line pressure :hyper: these are £1500 fitted and we will guarantee that you will be able to run 500bhp with ours , if your feeling really rich we can build one that will handle 700bhp but you would have to double the £1500 price tag :D

If u got the money id recomend one of ryans boxes, save any outgoing in the future

I've got an S.E upgraded box with oil cooler and have no trouble. Brilliant!!! No probs what so ever. Smooth and quick. Sure they just dont uprate the pressure they put extra clutches in.

They uprate the valves inside mate,I would not fit any other auto box :hyper:

I did have one and it was brilliant (for an auto) but I sold it when I converted to manual (autos are for girls of course). However, the fella I sold it to managed to get the car trashed about 2 weeks later, so I guess it was too fast for a 'normal' car ;)

Exactly right the valves are modified to give a higher line pressure therefore quicker gear change the rest of the box is left stock , the exact same effect can be achieved with an ALC ;)

not anymore the autobox has been sold as it would not take the billet TC that i was going to put in it also would not have held up to the power modifications that were planned for the zed so it would have been a shame to fry a perfectly good auto box

We would not just supply the box we would have to fit it otherwise you would void the warranty
