HAve you driven it? If so, how fast id it, no turbos working = not fast, look at your pipes feeding the boost gauge, But you wont get boost just reving it anyway, it will only show vacume.

to tell u the truth i havnt driven it yet as i said just started it. so nedle only moves when u drive it yes?

Not true, when not running boost guage should read zero (middle of guage). When you start the engine (idling) it should read negative values. Revving the engine slightly should cause the needle to move slightly. However, you won't be able to generate boost (positive numbers) unless there is load on the engine, ie you are moving.

If your boost guage is not moving at all then I would suspect a problem with the guage before assuming your turbos are dead. Even if both your turbos have siezed then the boost guage should still read negative values at idle.

Hope this helps.

well its not moving at all so i guess ur right rory any idea where i can find this boost guage pipe? and the car is a 1993 uk twin turbo manual and it has 80000 miles on clock with fsh how many milse these stock turbos last?

My tubs were still OK at 105k miles before I had them replaced (upgraded) for piece of mind. If you've been stood for a while, there is a chance that the smaller rubber pipes that feeds into a little black box toward the back left of the engine bay (drivers side) has perished or fallen off (happened to me).

dos anyone hav a pic of this turbo boost gauge pipe i mean where it gose and where it comes from? thanks

The one that came off mine was on top of the engine, towards the left a bit, just look for a pipe thats OFF. And see if there is a tube near for it to go on.

My Turbos worked well up to 130,000. Then one went big style hence complete engine replacement with upgraded lump and roller bearing T28's. So you got a while to go yet. Just change the oil frequently.
