if I were tyou Karl I would leave the ignition timing set up to the ECU, which advances or retards it as required, if you add this thing in , the ecu will be making adjustments based on a presumed setting which could change at any time, with possible serious problems.

 

Your car will be more than fast enough after its rebuild without addding something like this which could potentially cost you a fortune

Leave the engine management/timing to the ECU, it knows what it is doing, if u want to twek then do a conzult real time adjust to find your optimum settings...itheese cars are too clever for this type o stuff....
