turbos

As in the picture of the turbos glowing??

Yes its true, but that is run on an engine dynomometer, i.e. out of the engine bay, with probably no air running past to cool, and also probably beyond the limits it would ever reach in an engine bay, lets face it, if they did do that in the engine bay, you would have very little amount of paint left on the bonnet and very few plastic bits left as well.

"The best all-round model would be a 1993 2+2, twin turbo, 5spd manual (however, they're rare as hens teeth and if you did manage to find one, it would cost!) "

Ajay, I wasn't quit so please

1990 TT !

So, what r these "fixes" then, I gather a bit of extra cooling wouldn't go a mis for the autobox, but does anyone know of any other common failures on the '90 that can be avoided ?

Dare I say it, have done 10k with not one thing to be too bothered about, oh yeah, the handbrake switch seems to be sticking! big deal.

Zach, I hope you're touching an awful lot of wood right now. In fact, go out and hug a tree! smile.gif
