Interesting thought to ponder on!

wanna talk about death instead? It's inevitable anyway!

life is what happens when you make plans. It comes and shits all over you.

Then again, I'm not bitter :-)

is it!!!! sh1t!!!!

Unfortunately so my friend :slap:

This is what I think:

Our bodies are simply survival machines for our genes - they seek to duplicate themselves as many times as possible to enure their continued existance. This goes for all living things.

There is no God, no soul, no spirits, no ghosts, no Adam and Eve and no pixies (well not in physical terms - they all do exist as 'ideas' which can be good, bad or both).

Nothing exists that isn't explainable by science and the universe runs from a fixed beginning on a completely predictable path to a determined end.

so where does the Magic Roundabout come into it all?

Ups and down, peaks and troughs...usually more troughs and downers I reckon. Although finally receiving a cover note through the post so that I can legally drive my MR2 is a peak...well for today anyway!

Well, that was the theory.

My practical solution is Great White cider, bongs, Jerry Springer and getting a giro.

getting hammered :D (or so it seems!!)

Isn't that what Peter Sutcliffe used to say! :nelson: :x:

Sorry bit sick really :smash: :smash:

Is your real name Socrates?? :wack:

nicley summed up by....epicurus...who basicly said

1...share life with friends

2...share your meals with those around you..its the company that matters not the actual grub

3...spend less time with the boss

4...spend more time relaxing

John Betjamin (dead poet lauret/thinker) had a profound comment when asked on his death bed did he have any regrets....the great man said

i didnt **** enough women

I don't give a shit what is it about only give a toss what it does to me and mine

Life is something that you thank your god(of any type if you have one) for each morning when you wake up and discover you are alive and have full use of your body.

Unfortunately my mate Andy(bout 47yrs old) hasnt got much to be thankful for this week as he has just had a stroke which has left him without speech and use of his left arm. He had to ask his wife to phone me this morning to let me know.

Kinda puts it all in perspective.
