Took a trip to Brighton yesterday to give my kids a day out- left the Z behind, and having locked it up and alarmed her, of we went. On my return find I'm cursed, cant find the keys to the z anywhere, presumably down some drain in Brighton, problem is I now need a lock set, a new immobiliser and alarm in pretty short order as the Z is my daily driver. I have only one key that fits the ign and drivers door, and can't find the key that de-activates the alarm. The immobiliser only had one doodab as thats how it was when I bought it. Any suggestions anyone know anyone who might be able to help with this little lot. TA in advance.

The alarm fitted on mine was a toad, if yours had the same ( id ont know if its standard) I have a spare fob, which you may be able to get programmed to work your alarm. Failing that your going to have to call someone out, or disable the imobiliser (rip it out) and get a new one fitted. Bell me if you think this fob will help 07812-586102

I just hope you didnt lose your keys in the vicinity of your house cos if i were you i'd be keeping a very close eye on your zed until you get your locks changed.

Thanks for replying guys, the alarm is a Serpistar, the immobiliser made by Hamilton and Palmer, Immobiliser has been removed temporarily, and a hidden switch installed, but do you know of a reliable installer who can remove and renew the alarm system and what would you recomend as a good reliable system. must have keyless entry, battery back up etc. possibly with built in immobiliser. I have a immobiliser coming down to me during the week to replace the one I took out, but it would be preferable to only have the one system. Ideas??
