Quintin Wilson has been in the daily mirror slagging off Jap imports and not for the first time either..Apparently they are all stolen,crash damaged,unsafe and impossible to fix or buy parts for etc etc..He say's he has a woman freind (which sounds unlikely for a start!!) that has bought an imported Skyline and its basicly scrap because it needs a track rod end and they cant get one from the Uk or Japan??? maybee they havent heard of Middlehurst,Silvia,Torque developments etc etc.

 

if he thinks the Skylines Scrap I will gladly place my bid of £50.

All those points her mentioned apply in equal numbers to a lot of cars in the Auto Traders....Nothing new there - she should have had her car checked at a dealer - I'm lucky mines Middlehurst - I took it there! Cost £99. I find it hard to beleive Nissan made a part for a Skyline and then decided not to make spares.....maybe it had a non-standard tuning part on it - Should be enough to put the stock part on I'd have thought?

 

Where ever the car comes from the dealer has the same responsabilities and legal requirements.

 

I thought the UK had the worst car crime rate so surely it's not that safe buying a UK car!
