When I switch my lights on the digital clock dims. does anyone else have this or is something wrong? i did the resoldering thing a while back and the clock seems to work better now and i also put new resistors in but now it seems to dim when the headlights go on...cant rem if it did it be4.

 

any ideas?

Thats normal. Your Climate control display should also dim. Its so that they are not too bright at Night.

 

Thats fine for when it is dark outside, but for when its just raining or getting dark and you put on side lights, it dims so much its hard to see them :(

It's normal - assumes that if you're driving with the lights on, it's dark outside therefore clock doesn't need to be so bright...

That is correct operation. If you don't want this to happen then cut the green/brown wire on the loom side plug or green/white wire on the clock side socket.
