I used contact adhesive and it worked a treat - can find out the exact one if you want as I still have the tin.

yes mate spray adhesive is only good for up to 50'c or so and the car will get hotter than that - caravans use a hot melt system but i guess that is out of the question for most people - most contact adhesives would probably not be too clever either but you can get high temp ones which go to 120'c or so which should do the trick

when i was working at a joiners when i was a nipper we used an industrial strength contact adhesive to fix laminate, find that stuff and it would never come off :D

CJ, what did SE use to stick your rear lights on? pritt stick i heard :D

Evo-Stik Impact - Instant Contact Adhesive.

Comes in a big red and silver tin. You have to brush it on. Make sure its the Solvent one you get, and not the crap non-solvent one. B&Q Sell it, You'll probably have to take empty can to the Desk so they can get the real stuff out of their mini-safes.

It should be Thick Golden Brown.
