Also, see my Rides for pics of them in car.

I have also replaced the torn Tweed on my drivers seats with another tweed cover...before I swapped the whole lot for Leather.

Its a fair bit of work...not difficult..just time consuming.

Basically involves bending back the original metal rings to remove the old cover. Then fitting the new cover, and re-attaching with Cable ties (simpler to use than the original rings)

seen your links legrath, that is one good looking car you've got there!! tryin to do the same with the interior as well.....nasty tweed ...hello leather ( or some material like )

..

Noticed legrath and Stu left the old tweed on the door cards, a bit more difficult to do with alcantara as the tweed fabric shows through with it's rough finish and any dirt in the tweed will eventually come through the new alcantara as well. I've just managed to strip one door card of tweed and almost me second one, it's VERY time consuming :(

Really diddnt want to hear that mate as I am just about to rip my interior panels out, I have the 1990 tweed sh1te, is that the same as yours?

I dont want to cover the existing stuff though, i'd rather rip out the old and replace the new....hmmm, I can see this isnt gonna be a 5 minute job...

door cards: i took off all tweed, stanley blade vingl under, off with foam, smooth over and stick on lukes new leather, lastly pvc black piping siliconed in all edges and around door handles job done!

Seats: used small wire cutters snip/remove all hog rings, hog ring pliers £25,hog rings £1.50/100.

The only extra thing i done was stuck 1/2" foam to bottom of all seats.

Good luck, takes awhile but well worth it.
