I'm looking at fitting an electronic Boost Controller very soon and it has been recommended to me to replace the pipes that currently hold the booster jets and move the take off (T-Piece) fairly close to the actuator outlets as opposed to where they are now which is near the hicas system and to be honest the pipes seem miles too long.

 

So can i get to these bits without having to jack the car up???

Well....

I downloaded my updates last night n all seems to be working ok on the S4 but the S4 never flashed or beeped once this morning and i went from jct7 on A1M to jct1 onto M25 jct23 round to jct16.

Not a whisper...

yet as soon as i came into a 30 limit it told me.

I have the clock(time)display along with the direction im heading(ie...N...SE....etc etc).

The mode its in is "ALL"

I have tried selecting Motorway but made no difference.

It is mounted to clearly see upwards and is not restricted in any way.

 

I know that it takes bout 30mins when you first use the gadget for it to work properly but i did 1hr 30mins of driving this morning and not a pip.

 

Is it possible that there just are no cameras on those sections of motorway or is it missing them.

 

There seems to be about 20 cameras that ive counted but they could possibly be just monitering cameras and not speed.

 

But i know i passed one camera with two infra red units next to it (forgotton the name) and got nothing.

Was this camera possibly switched off?

Is it easy to do with the car jacked up mate?

Nope replced most of the others, but this one foxed me. Also the hoses that run into the wheel arches look a bit of a bugger to replace and ive probally missed some hoses somewhere. Just wanna get rid of my bloomin boost leak lol

It can be done, but you'll need to remove almost everything on the sides of the engine/plenum and you'll also need a lot of patience, small hands and some more patience ;)

OK....Think it might be easier to make a set of ramps then and go from underneath ;)
