my clutch has gone dodgy, car had a new centreforce clutch rated to 600bhp last year, only done 5k miles MAX of easy driving since then

pedals gone soft and I cant change gear now, there was never any slip or nothing before this

do you think its possible that theres air in the system >? even after 5k miles driving ?

sounds like either a hydraulic problem (prob slave cyl leaking) or the clutch pivot pin has broken.

may be worth trying to bleed 1st, but air doesnt normally get into the system for no good reason!!

thanks paul, and sorry for posting in wrong forum, should know better im a mod on 7 forums LOL

pivot pin ? If I let the revs drop in first, I can hold the car on the brakes only JUST,. by depressing the clutch pedal if that helps, no fluid loss from the reservoir that I can see ?

Just because the clutch res is OK doesnt mean its not leaking.

It could have a leak and sucking in air.

Bleed the clutch to start with. You can get 1 man bleeding kits for less than £10 from Halfords. They are very good.
