is there a thead to show how to replace a rear wheel stud, i got one that's bin cross threaded

I just had the same problem on the front. I got a tap and die set and re-did the thread, seemed to work fine. The size was M12 1.25.

 

As far as I know though I think you can knock the stud out through the other side of the hub by giving it a good wack with a hammer. But perhaps best to wait for some other advice before trying that first, as I've never actually done it myself.

You are correct in saying you can knock them out. I have to do one of my fronts soon when i can get hold of a stud :D

i've just had a rear one done and they do knock out but u need to tak hub off to do it i was quite surprised nissan still do z studs for £2.50 plus vat each

just to let you know that a zed nut fits a nissan cabstar pick-up and visa-versa in case you need a fast fix mate
