Tommorow I will be.....

Fitting my shiny new plenum (Thanks Paul @ Knightsbridge Motors), nismo 555cc injectors, new plugs, PVC Valve kit (Thanks Ryan), New fuel line kit (Thanks Smithy), new three pod A-pillar (thanks Mark@somewhere I cant remember lol), moving my Apexi EL2 boost guage into pod with new Apexi EL2 water temp guage (Thanks smithy) and Apexi EL2 oil pressure guage (Thanks bloke off Ebay! BARGAIN!) along with Aasco 11lb flywheel (Thanks Al (Tattooman)), adjustable upper/lower front link arms (Birthday pressie last August!).....I think thats it although I am sure theres more.....hmmm? Nope, cant remember at the mo! Ah yes, my manual conversion kit arrives later this month so we need to strip the rest of the auto bits out ready for this.

Spinksy is coming over with me tomorrow and whilst we removed the plenum last week, loads of pipes split, so I am gonna need new boost pipes (Smithy, Here I come!) and some water pipes split??? Not sure whether we'll be able to replace these tomorrow but hopefully we can source them if not....

I have a couple of questions though:

Injectors, I believe I am supposed to use new 'O' rings, but is this vital? The injectors arnt that old so the rings arnt that old either? Will I get away with them or is it just not worth the risk?

Also, most the coilpack connectors are fooked and the injector connectors all broke whilst coming off, is there a harness I can buy that will supply all of this?

I presume I will need to inform the DVLA of the change of transmission type and the color when she's goes black later this year...is it loads of hassle or dead easy?

Ahh, I knew I had another question...

EGR valves? Are they valves? The ones either side of the underneath of the plenum (I presume they are the EGR valves?) I have heard of people blocking these off?

Can I do this and what are the consequences?

Cheers lads... :D

Daz mate, the EGR connectors, I believe, enter the plenum about half way up either side.....they connect to a pipe that runs down to the exhausts.....

Basically a metal pipe that connects to the plenum.....???????? INNit shammooo???

Yup-that's the plumbing for it bud-but the valves still at the back!
