Hi all, my rear bumper underskirt has come away on one side, looks like they are glued on, does anyone know whay they use to do this and where I can get it from???? :cry:

It's mastic (sp) mate, go to B&Q or halfords etc. and ask for Tigar seal, that is what bodyshops use (other than fibre glass) don't cost much, but what ever you do don't get it on your hands cause its a barstard to get off again.

This item is a Stillen skirt so I guess its GRP plastic certainly didnt look like fibre glass so Tigar seal should do it then?

just took my rear stillen off (as in my sig pic) and it had double sided tape holding it to original bumber,it works mate because it took me half a day to get the shite off :cry:

I was quite surprised to find its only held on by glue and the 2 number plate screws to be honest, now wondering if im better off taking the whole thing off cleaning up and doing it properly, double sided tape sounds the easiest way all I want is for the thing to be stuck once and for all as I am sure if it came unstuck when im at speed it would catch in the wind and rip it in half.

oh i forgot to mention that mine was held by 2 ally rivets on the bottom of each wheel arch

tigerseal is the way forward :)

def use the mastic, you will be suprised how much it will hold.
