Hi Peeps,

In serious UK heavy rain, have had drips of water leaking onto my right foot. This is bloody annoying as you can guess.

Upon further analysis I think its coming out of foot air con vents.

I have seen other posts regarding air-con causing probs but I do not have any unecessary misting of wind screen etc.

I have not used my air-con or de-mist option for a month or so.

Could the car be sucking in rain from the external air intake?

Any ideas ?? I may go nuts on the A12 if I cannot sort this.

Thanks in advance

Another Dave ;-)

i have a very minor but it still bugs me leak from the targa top on my side but only when it really lashes it down.our weather although bad is nothing like the monsoons they get in the land of the rising sun

Another Dave (!), I'd suggest you check your windscreen is well sealed. Alternatively, check for any bunches of leaves anywhere around the bulkhead area. Doesn't sound like a matrix problem - just basic water getting inside the car.

Tooley, I have exactly the same !

And don't the T-tops make a racket when there's ice on the car !

Yup the 'Crack' from the T top really wakes you up in the morning. Regarding the dripping T Top I had this problem. If it stops raining for more than 10 minutes, just take the top off and clean all seals with washing up liquid. Make sure all contact surfaces are clean and dry and thn it should stop. Take the tops off when wet and it all starts again.

It fixed the problem on mine anyway.

i should never have to worry about ice on them as i have an underground lair at work and park it there. am i sad for using t top covers over the winter

After cleaning the seals put silicone spray on them.

Hey, who was it that put shoe polish on their rubbers? Did it wash off?

i wondered that as well as mine are snot and i was gonna try it out

The shoe polish still looks good, I have even jet washed the car and it stays on.
