Seen some Jap fog lights in the 'for sale section' and was wondering if they will fit into the standard UK bumper??

One more question, I've heard people talking about driving lights, are they any different to fogs??

Thanks

Andrew :D

Jap fogs will fit, but you'll then lose your UK front indicators! The outer/wing lights on UK cars are just blanks..

Hi Steve

The wing lights on my car have working orange bulbs in them. Shouldnt be too much of a problem to re-route the indicator wiring to them??

So called "driving lights" should have a long beam whereas so called "fog lights" have a wide fan shaped short range beam.

Apparantly the law is if its mounted bumper or below it can only be used in bad visibility otherwise for pose prat value for the visually challenged its a £30 ir £40 fine if they can be ar5ed to pull you over. Or you just irritate your fellow motorists like me:)

No worries mate, annoys the hell out of me too when ppl use their fogs when there is no need! Just that I live down some very narrow windy country lanes and there is often fog in the evenings so mine will be used for the purpose they were made for! :D

Shouldn't be a problem but I've never come across a UK car with bulbs in the wing lenses. It's basically the same job I've got to do with my 99 Spec front bumper.. (just not got round to it yet  )
