Anyone know what the stock exhaust bore diameter is ?

 

and if it varies then im specifically interested in the bore size of the pipes between cats and backbox.

If memory serves me ... 2.5" bore. A lot of aftermarket exhausts (like B&B triflows) will be 3" for TT's and 2.5" for NA's but when I had my exhaust fabricated the pipes used had a bore of 2.5".

Downpipes and exhaust are 2.5" on my TT.

Right, just been out to measure mine in the garage 2 1/2 inch on a twin turbo zorst bud, alot of people go bigger but there is no need to, as this is optimum.

Alot of Zorst places use the 2:3/4 inch pipe work and bigger back boxes but if you want to loose your back pressure :confused:

I've bought a pair of 2nd hand 3.5" Tipped cat back boxes, with 2.5" bore pipes , but the previous owner had cut them off just before the cats, so wanted to check that the bore size would match for welding on.
