Yup guess what we've been upto today!!-Boldy[Allan]got these from Luke with the intention of going ''all clear'' but still working on that!

Anyoo,here's wot to do:

Remove rear lights and c/panel,then cut out the back panel as required:

Should look something like this both sides when done!

Pic of the panel with lights already fitted and painted:

Then you need to fit the panel and wire up the lamp units, then the messy bit-

sealing it all up!!:

When you have finished it goes a little like this..........

Sure you can mate!!! :wack: ;)

My original idea was to have all clear lights and use coloured bulbs , got some chomed ambers for the indicators also chrome on red stop and tail (fook me there pricey)luke also supplied some red stop and tails , anyway connected all the lights up in the workshop to try em out ,was they on or not ? could hardly tell :o

The indicators ar,nt bad but better with just amber bulbs , sidelights were a joke only being 5w hardly any light reflectig out but better with the red ones(but not good enough) hence the red lenses for now, reverse lights up the street and ive used a red bulb for the fog using both fillaments lit up (should be alright for the MOT.

I,m going to look into making the tail lamps light up using a ring of led,s and just have a red 21w in the centre for the brakelights so i can put the clear lenses back on .

I,ll let you kmow if it works out. :headvswal :headvswal

allan

ive been upto the same today but iam flushing mine into the body

I was gonna do the same but having painted the perspex trim i wanted to keep the line around the light panel matched up to the line around the trim . :hyper:
