I've just bought a '92 300zx TT and its having a service and tune up next week. Can anyone recommend what replacement sparkplugs I should buy? The guy in my local motor factor showed me some new type that he said would improve performance and fuel economy, i cant remember the make but they were around £90 for 6.

I bought the car off Donald - he said he'd Vijay in Kilburn had done some work on it recently - are you out there mate, can you recommend anything?

Cheers. Do you know how many miles/km they should be replaced?

Another one for ya bud is NGK ZFR7F-11 coppers, you will need to change theses when you do your oil every 3,000 miles. A few of us are running these

NGK PFR6b-11B recomended replacing every 60,000 miles although personally I would change mine every 30,000. I presume you have a twin turbo.

Hello mate,

I'm pretty sure they were changed on the service my mechanic did. What did Donald say?

I cant remember - he probabably did tho.... when was the service done? I was thinking of getting eveything checked just for my piece of mind, might leave the plugs if they look ok.

Also there are a couple of small bodywork dinks that I'd like to sort out - do you know anyone local that does that?

so how come mines got pfr6b-11C then ????

I believe those plugs are standard for the TT, the 11B are colder pugs able to with stand higher temperatures.
