I've just got my Z back after 7 weeks and I can't remember what this warning lamp is.

It's on the small row of 3 lamps underneather the instrument cluster on the left. The one in question is to the left of the hicas and abs lamps, and the pic on it of a lamp beam (sort of thing). It comes on when the lights are turned on and I don't remember it coming on before??????????

Cheers

Jeff,

I just had the quad round light conversion done and all the bulbs are ok, any ideas on how I can sort this out or is it a case of removing the warning bulb.

Cheers

Vijay

vijay the unit which is responsible for monitoring the lights is behind the drivers side rear light,is a black rectangular box with a single cable connector, try to check here if connector has become disconnected slightly or may be faulty. If all looks ok try and disconnect completely and check bulb operation and warning light state. It`s possible that incorrect wattage bulbs have been fitted and are not compatable with the unit.Try that and let me know.

Hi Vijay,Thought you were getting your car back tomorrow?Have you got any pictures yet?

Vijay, if you have had the quad lights done you will only have one set of rear side lights and brake lights. The warning light reads the resistance and because you are 2 bulbs short it thinks they have blown. Try removind the warning light or put bulbs in the bulb holders if they are still there.

Vijay - If you have the inner brake lights as fogs only you can wire it up to keep the warning light functional, there was a thread about this, email me if you have probs...

How's you car!!!!

I spoke to Luke @ the Z centre and he told me all I had to do was cut one of the wires. Just incase anyone else needs to know it was the red/yellow one on the row nearest the locking clip on the connector.
