Anyone have any feedback on these tyres please ?

Featured Replies

I have them fitted on the other car, they are expensive, but wear is great on them, they are a good tyre, maybe only let down when cold, they will spin easy (i know anything will on a zed, but more so at cold)

Really ? from the reviews ive read, they dont last 2 mins due to the soft compound. Any idea what they are like compared to Toyos ?

Ta la

I cant say mate, never used toyo sorry.

The only reason i used them, was no other make had 19" with a 30 profile in the width i needed, they are fitted to a 2ltr car, so maybe the fact they are not ripping rubber at every junction, is helping the wear. But funnily, only the weekend i said how long they were lasting .

i'd buy them again

Better cos they're a proper Tyre

I've just put them on the C70 T5 and they are as grippy a tyre as I've had on the T5 and on par with the Bridgestones SO3's (lets hope the last longer) Good in the wet and dry.

I've have Mitchelin Pilots (not too bad but not brilliant either)

Goodyear Eagle F1 (poor in the wet + couldn't set off without wheel spin)

Perrelli P6000's (on par with Pilots)

Verdestien sport (quite a good Tyre)

Toyo's are a OK but like the pilots. They aint Bridgestones. These New Perrelli's arn't far off though

not used them un my zed, but used to use them on other cars. good tyre

Ive got these on my Zed. Good tyres!!

I used to run them on a Manta coupe and they didn't last very long at all - since then I have always used Good Year eagles

I had P Zero Asymetrico on the rear - not sure if there is a compound difference to the Nero but they were exceptional in terms of grip & traction, average in terms of wear (compared to toyo's that I had on the back).

Can't go wrong with Pirelli IMO.

I have heard that they are not very good.

They where on the Skyline wheels when I got the car. The rears had to be replaced right away because they where down to the thread. I was expecting to get rid of the fronts asap because of the bad stories I have heard.

However, they where quite good on the front. The dry use was responsive and in wet conditions the tyre did really well.

Only thing I noticed is that they dont like being at the wrong PSI. I was playing round with the pressures and found that the performance dropped baddly even with just a 2 PSI difference.

Usually the car doesnt feel quite right with the front tyres pressure slightly out, but these where awful.

Once they where correct, they where a very good tyre. I would think about giving them another try, if the price was right.

Had them on my 300 load of crap grip well but are to soft did'nt last five minutes

Cheers guys

But ffs can we have some consistency in the reviews :D
