Has anyone here porked a porker?

 

Ive baited the fuck out of Porsche drivers this week and not one of them took me on!

 

My theory is, that they are shit scared of the certain humiliation awaiting them should

they even try.

This is getting boring now.

When people were posting on the corsa forums they were not slagging the cars off!!!!

 

And as far as being told to grow up - you were the one being picky about little details

 

Light hearted humour I can take but I really hate having people slag my car off - I don't go onto other forums to slag their cars off so do not expect it to happen to me.

 

Oh well, after the events on September 11th I think there are a lot more things to worry about than who's cars are quickest anyway! Just my thoughts....

Oh and one more point - I do not believe that Porker or Porker 933 actually have the cars they brag about. My thoughts are that these people (if not the same sad individual) used to own a 300 and are now bitter at the fact they had to sell their cars because they couldn't drive them properly or something

Oh by the way porker 993, a friend of mine HAS a 996 carerra tiptronic with the porsche factory engine upgrade from 80mph up, the (far torquier) Z leaves it for dead, as does his other daily driver car, a BMW M5. As a whole he is dissatisfied with it and having driven it on several occasions, I think it's a nice car, but not worth its asking price.

Before you start, I have owned 2 porsches (a 944 turbo and a 1990 911 carerra) and while I'm quite sure that if I save a bit I could afford a 996 911, I'm quite happy with my Z thankyou.

 

Hmmm comparing apples with apples again, nice to know that the 993 porker compares our cars to new 996

i feel honered that you feel the need to come onto a 300zx forum to have a go at us,because your obviously threatened, by £6000 cars. I mean dare your car go against say a ferrari 360 and oh how embarresing that would be wouldent it.

Now if i calculate this correctly add 56k to what you paid for your machine and its about a fair comparrison to race a 360 isint it.

 

Funny thing is the 996 carrera is the poor broker who cant afford a decent ferrari type car isint it.?

 

oh and dident a supra driver turn onto trax the worng way, i mean ffks i know supras look like giant oversidzed dildos but it doesent mean you have to act like its stuck up your arse all the time

No I am nothing to do with Porker. I do own a Porsche 993 (ask anyone on the MKIV Supra board - I am known well enough there - a BPU MKIV was my previous car). Anyone wants to see it at anytime, no problems.

 

This was meant as a bit of a laugh, I thought you lot had a sense of humour after accusing the Supra lot of being too stuffy. But oh well.

At the end of the day we all love the cars WE own and if we didn't we probably wouldn't have them. At this rate the next event such as trax will end up as a punch up!!!

The only Porsche I've seen at the dragstrip (a 993) blew his gearbox on the startline trying to launch. Meanwhile I pulled consistent mid 12's all day in a 10yr old car. You might say it takes 9secs to get from 0-100 but you gotta get off the startline first I don't know if it was a freak occurance but I have heard that the G50 gearbox is rather weak, don't know about the newer design ones.

 

I do however recognise that on a race circuit with a brave driver behind the wheel I'm going to get my ass handed to me by a Porsche 99x if I was in a stock 300.

 

I also like the way you're comparing how much you paid for your car vs how much we paid for ours. Interesting to note that you laugh about it. I wouldn't be laughing go ass backwards off the track in a $NZD150k+ car.. whereas I could easily learn the limits of my driving in a $NZD35k+ car (seriously modified). Put some slicks on it, with decent pads, as well as some of the available suspension mods for 300s, whack in some bigger turbos, rollcage (might be brave but not stupid) and I would wonder if the Porsche would be keeping up. Sure you might say the Porsche has higher limits, is that really the case though.. would you be keen to cage/modify your car ? .. I would be grinning from ear to ear and having fun and not thinking about the cost of the drivers door as I'm on the limit round a high speed sweeper.

 

If you had that much money to not worry about it I doubt you would be on here trying to prove a point.

 

If you want to prove a point do it on the racetrack. I invite you to come down to NZ with your Porsche and we'll have some fun Best track time buys the rounds. If you have that much money to go on about it shipping to NZ should be a drop in the bucket for you.

Timmy, don't know who Porker is but he isn't a MKIV person. I did used to own a MKIV though.

Oh, and BTW the 944 was half a 928 engine, the 924 was the only Porker with a VAG engine... well there was also the 914....
