You would need a dremmle to get most of it off

 

You can buy the motors for less than a tun in diy stores and fit the pads and griners as you need.

That will do it but you want a smaller set of mops really around 1" - 2", you will need to buy some flap disks for a grinder and probs some flapwheels for a drill, to take off all the high spots and rough bits from the casting, then smooth it all down with wet and dry then get polishing may be the same company but try giving these people a shout, this is where I bough mine

hey fellas,

 

is this a good kit to use to polish my plennum & rocker cover or is there a better kit available somwhere else,

 

can i use valve lapping paste on the mop to smooth away most of the roughness on the plennum??

Hi Pal

The best option is a thing called "Duffer". It is very hard to get hold off these days, in stock only certain times of the year. If you do manage to track one down it will save you alot of works and also your knuckles. Lend it to me after you have finished....lol
