How on earth do you change the direction of the air? mine always comes out from under the windscreen and on the very odd random occasion comes out of the console vents where i want/need it to come out from!

PHASE I has no direction control

 

PHASE II has a button for direction,im glad i have the latter :D

Basically, if you have it set on AUTO, then, first it'll wait for the engine to get to temperature, then it'll start blowing faster into the cabin area, to warm you up. If you have the 'Temp Set' set to the max, then you wont feel the benifit for quite some time. My system seems very subtle in how it delivers the heat, it will warm you up, but it takes a while because of the way it works.

Once the engines warmed up I find that if it's cold outside and you turn the temp up to about 23 degrees, it doesn't blow through the console vents until it's almost reached that temperature - seems to blow out at the screen or footwell.

 

But if I turn the temperature down a bit (to 19 or something) I start to feel warm air coming through the vents. Then once the cabin reaches about 19 degrees I can turn it up to 23 again and seems ok.

 

Does seem to take a long time to warm up - I would rather a manual heater control to be honest - just to blast hot air straight at me!

I thought mine was faulty when i first had it, seems it just normal and crappy...

 

The only negative point i have found so far on he zed, is the heater....for a car with a targ top, you really would think they would have a better heater.....dont they know we want to take the tops of in winter
