Ok guys,There seems to be mixed feelings in this forum about SE, I have all my major work done there and travel around 500 miles to do this.Every thing they have done turbos, gearbox, and tuning has been 100% satisfactory.So if they were so bad as some of you say,why have I not had any problems? I find Pete's knowledge on the 300zx exceptional.

My word...I think it's fair to say that some people have had no problems at all with Silvia Engineering and others have had a fair number of problems. Can anyone here name a single company that offers good service, polite staff and promises that are met 365 days of the year?

 

Whatever company is named, someone, somewhere will have had an issue with it.

 

Why can't we just drop this SE debate once and for all....? It goes nowhere and simply serves to get the sort of diabolical language as used above on a thread.

Having been closely involved with the GTTurbo website for a while now - it was a similar thing between customers of two rival tuning companies that forced us to implement moderation - *before* messages were posted. So that we could edit/weed out messages, after the club was threatened with legal action over several messages.

 

I'm not having a go at anyone in particular here, because there are as many people who are fervently in favour of SE as there are against.

m8t if anyone wants to sue me or threaten legal action because they fucked me over then good for them.

i actually dare them to take action on this ,because i have my reciepts and i have managed to since get in touch with the original owner (which was by chance)

so blah blah blah. A the end of the day im not an independant tuning company and if you go back to the top of this thread i never started all this shit i or anyone else was asked an opinion i gave mine i never insulted MAC1 on his or Timmy turbo on his , yet you all fell the need to feverishly have a go at me for voicing my opinion.

Warren like you i'm totally hacked with SE, previous problems almost resulted in me lamping Peter one ! and to add insult to injury i'm sure the work from there is to blame for my car being at RC with a big friggin bill, and i never went there !! previous owner from this forum did !! Mr Gee from a few years back, i've just given up listening to people who say the company is so great and think, well they will learn 1 day, given this has always been a sensitive subject, i vote no one bring up the name of SE, whether it be good or bad, cos what ever is posted, someone will come back with the opposite, we all clearly have different idea's of what constitutes shit service. smithy

Hey andyduff, it's nice to hear of someone else that does their own work. I do my own work because if I mess up, it is my fault alone, and I have not got to go through lengthy and messy arguments to get the job put right.

 

ps Finished rebuilding my TT engine a few months back, now just finishing the bodywork off.

Well Timski that is 100%correct mate.The whole point of this post was specifically determine that issue.Under no circumstance was this thread posted to create a slagging match with those for and against SE.And as for never bringing the name SE up again as posted above well what a load of shit!How many companies in the UK specalize in the 300zx YES SPECIALIZE!!! You can count on one hand,and as long as they continue to do the work on my z32 in the professional manner that they have done,they will get my vote every single time.
